A pavilion near water catches the moonlight first; trees facing the sun blossom into spring sooner. This ancient wisdom speaks not only of advantage, but of the openness needed to receive it.
Opportunity knocks, but doubt often answers. Even with a wise teacher’s guidance, we question: “Is this right? Perhaps my own view is better.” Such hesitation dims the light within reach.
A mentor opens the door, but the journey must be walked alone. True growth comes not from proximity to wisdom, but from trust, humility, and steady practice. Self-cultivation is the key.
We often forget this: chances abound, yet only those who receive with an open heart and act with persistent effort truly transform. Let us be near the water with a clear mind, face the sun with firm resolve, and step forward—one day at a time.
