There are four kinds of people who are blessed without ever praying.
First, those who honor their parents.
Parents are the deepest field of merit. To honor them is to plant the greatest seed of goodness.
Second, those with a grateful heart.
Gratitude opens the mind and widens the soul. A grateful person attracts kindness and builds good connections.
Third, those who are content.
Greed, anger, and ignorance cloud the heart. By letting go and finding contentment, we sow the seeds of true fortune.
Fourth, those who are compassionate and kind.
A gentle and loving heart is closest to the divine. Kindness is a light that shines on others, and on yourself.
Blessings are not found in temples, but in how we live each day. May we all become one of these four—and find peace without asking.
