If you wish to grow into a mighty tree, do not waste time competing with weeds. Perfectionism drives friends away; shrewdness leaves no path. A general’s sword is not meant for killing flies. When you meet toxic people, walk away. When you encounter pointless troubles, cut your losses.
Follow flies, and you’ll find filth; follow bees, and you’ll find flowers. Walk with the wealthy, and you learn to build; walk with beggars, and you learn to beg. Dead fish drift with the current; living fish swim against it. Your choices shape your fate; your vision shapes your future.
At the lowest level, people judge ability; at the middle, character; at the highest, vision. True vision is the inner arrangement of one’s insight, tolerance, and courage. Expand your vision, and your world expands. With a broader view, your actions gain depth, and your presence gains weight. Life is not about perfection—it is about having a vast mind and a steady direction.
