## The Lesson of Lu Bu
The Red Hare horse was real. The halberd was not. History often strips away the embellishments of legend.
Lu Bu was indeed a formidable warrior, wielding a spear instead of the mythical weapon attributed to him. He never fought the three brothers at Tiger Trap Pass, and Diao Chan never existed. Yet his real feats were remarkable: he rescued Liu Bei with a single arrow shot, defeated Guo Si in single combat, and charged through ten thousand enemy troops with ease.
But his brilliance was overshadowed by his character. He betrayed every master he served, sought only personal gain, and dishonored his subordinates by having affairs with their wives. In the end, his own men turned against him. When he begged to join Cao Cao, Liu Bei's single remark sealed his fate—strangled and beheaded.
A fast horse cannot outrun one's own flaws. True strength lies not in legendary weapons or battlefield prowess, but in integrity and loyalty. Lu Bu's story reminds us: the most important battle we fight is always within ourselves.
