Admiral Tōgō Heihachirō carried a plaque reading: “In life, I bow to Yangming.” Kazuo Inamori, a legendary entrepreneur, credited Wang’s “unity of knowledge and action” for his success in building two Fortune 500 companies.
This principle is not just for sages—it is practical wisdom for daily life. It offers guidance in learning, virtue, relationships, career, and personal growth. By understanding the three root causes of life’s struggles, we can recognize our flaws and overcome them through action.
